GRAN TURISMO 7 TOURNAMENT

GT 7 TOURNAMENT - TIME ATTACK

Tournament Format:

1. Qualifying Round

• Track: Willow Springs International Raceway: Horse Thief Mile
• Players will have a set amount of time to set the fastest possible lap time on a specific track. The top 16 players will then advance to the next round.

2. Round 1

• Track: Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A
• The 16 qualifying players will be divided into four groups of four. Each group will race each other in a single-elimination bracket. The top 8 players from the brackets will advance to the next round.

3. Round 2

• Track: Daytona Road Course
• The 8 remaining players will be divided into two groups of four. Each group will race one another in a single-elimination bracket. The top 4 players from the brackets will advance to the next round.

4. Semi-Finals

• Track: Tokyo Expressway - South Outer Loop
• The 4 remaining players will compete in two head-to-head races. The winners of the two races will advance to the final round.

5. Finals

• Track: Circuit de la Sarthe
• The two remaining players will compete against each other in a single race to determine the tournament winner.

Race Rules:

• Every game will have a 3-lap race on each respective track.
• The player with the fastest lap time at the end of the race will win.
• The finals will consist of 3 total races. The winner will be determined by the best of the 3 races.
• The winner of the finals will be crowned the champion of the tournament.

General Rules:

• The tournament is open to all players of all skill levels.
• The tournament will be held on two PlayStation 4 Pro consoles with a Logitech G923 racing wheel.
• There will be a set car used for the tournament, which will be the BMW M6 GT3.
• Players must be respectful of other players and the tournament staff.
• Players are expected to race ethically.
• Any player who is caught cheating or found to be in unsportsmanlike conduct will be disqualified from the tournament.

Prizes:

• The top 3 players in the tournament will receive the following prizes.
• 1st Place R3000.
• 2nd Place R1500.
• 3rd Place R500.
